Refund policy

1. PURPOSE

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued on the HelpMe platform (the “Platform”), operated by Maxensse, Québec, Canada.

By using the Platform and purchasing any paid features, users agree to this Refund Policy.


2. GENERAL PRINCIPLE

All purchases made on the Platform are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated in this policy.


3. DIGITAL CREDITS

The Platform may use virtual credits (“Credits”) to enable transactions.

Users acknowledge that:

  • Credits are non-refundable once purchased,
  • Credits cannot be exchanged for cash,
  • Credits have no monetary value outside the Platform,
  • unused Credits are not refundable.

4. USER-TO-USER TRANSACTIONS

Transactions conducted between users (including payments for services, content, or communication) are final.

The Platform:

  • does not guarantee the outcome or quality of services,
  • is not responsible for disputes between users,
  • does not issue refunds for user-to-user transactions.

Users are encouraged to communicate clearly before engaging in paid interactions.


5. PAID FEATURES

Payments for Platform features (including messaging access, premium tools, or visibility options) are non-refundable once the feature has been activated or used.


6. EXCEPTIONAL REFUNDS

Refunds may be granted at the sole discretion of the Platform in exceptional circumstances, including:

  • duplicate payments,
  • technical errors resulting in failed service delivery,
  • unauthorized transactions reported promptly.

Any refund request must be submitted within a reasonable time frame.


7. FRAUD AND ABUSE

The Platform reserves the right to:

  • refuse refund requests in cases of suspected abuse,
  • suspend or terminate accounts engaging in fraudulent refund behavior.

8. CHARGEBACKS

Users agree not to initiate chargebacks without first contacting the Platform.

In case of unjustified chargebacks, the Platform reserves the right to:

  • suspend or terminate the user account,
  • recover associated costs.

9. PROCESSING TIME

Approved refunds, if any, will be processed within a reasonable time.

Processing delays may occur depending on the payment provider.


10. LEGAL RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy limits any rights granted under applicable consumer protection laws.
